Online security awareness training

BSAFE is an online security awareness training. It is mandatory for all UN personnel, including staff, interns and consultants. It is also highly recommended for dependants.

All Norec employees who have business trips outside Europe must have undergone BSAFE, the UN Department of Safety and Security’s e-learning programme. Employees create their own account and register for the training. After the course and completed self-test, they receive a course diploma. Employees must send this to HR for registration. The course must be reviewed every 3 years.

Norec also recommend others to use the BSAFE training as part of their preparations. The training can be completed within one-two hour and is mobile friendly.
