Get your participants ready for the Norec training
12. December 2024There are a lot of things to keep track of when sending new participants to a Norec training. We have created a handy guide to help make your preparations a bit easier.
Checklist: Make sure your participants arrive at their Norec training on time
By following this checklist, you will ensure your participants are fully prepared, on time, and ready for a successful training.
Step 1: Register Your Participants
- Sign up before the deadline: Use the link in the invitation e-mail sent from your programme adviser. Make sure you complete this on time.
- Check the training dates: Look at the invitation letter for the exact arrival and departure dates.
Step 2: Book Travel
- Plan travel for the correct dates: Ensure participants arrive on time and stay for the entire training schedule. The start- and end dates for the training are in the invitation e-mail.
- Confirm accommodation details: Norec covers meals and accommodation for specific dates.
Step 3: Prepare Important Documents
Ensure participants have printed copies of the following:
- Their contract of employment.
- Their insurance documents (covering both travel and health).
- The emergency plan for their exchange.
- Plan for visa arrangement if needed.
Step 4: Arrange Finances
- Transfer the first salary or stipend: Make sure participants receive their first payment before they leave for the Norec training.
Step 5: Plan for Arrival at the Host Country
- Arrange a welcome: Ensure someone will meet the participants when they arrive at their host country when they are starting their exchange. Confirm this plan with the particiants in advance.
