There is a high level of interest in the opportunities to be found in a Norec exchange. Below is a list of agreements Norec has signed with new partners.

“Activities have seen a gradual increase as the world has reopened after the pandemic,” says Director of Programmes at Norec, Margunn Indrebø Alshaikh.

During the first few months of 2023, 20 projects will be starting activities, and more than 200 young people will be leaving on exchange. These are from project applications that were granted at the very end of 2022.

“We had NOK 90 million available for the allocation round in December, but received applications totalling NOK 144 million. We had to turn down project applications that were both good and met our requirements, but that fell slightly short in competition with other project applications,” she continues.
