In this health exchange programme Haukeland University Hospital in Norway collaborates with Mnazi Mmoja Hospital in Zanzibar, Tanzania.  Through a long-term partnership the hospitals cooperate on increasing their mutual competencies on global health by sharing skills and knowledge in the areas of internal medicine and dialysis, drug addiction and psychiatry, and paediatrics and neonatal medicine. The exchange participants are various health practitioners, from doctors, to nurses and medical technicians.
