Norec invites Ghanaian organisations to explore international exchange
2. April 2025This April, Norec is hosting two information- and networking events in Ghana to explore opportunities for collaboration, competence building and contributions to the Sustainable Development Goals.
— Ghana is a priority country for Norec, reflecting Norway’s long-standing and broad development cooperation with the country. We welcome more applications and partnerships from Ghanaian actors, says Margunn Indrebø-Alshaikh, Programme Director at Norec.
Norec is hosting two information meetings in Ghana — one at the Norwegian Embassy in Accra and one in Kumasi. The events are open to civil society organisations, public institutions and businesses that are interested in building or expanding international cooperation.
Connect with Norec
During the meetings, Norec will present its grant scheme for international staff exchange and share examples of successful projects. Participants will also have the chance to ask questions, meet other organisations, and connect over lunch.
The events are particularly relevant for organisations that want to build staff competence through international exchange and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals through global collaboration.
— If you’re considering applying for our grant scheme, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the process and what the model can offer, says Programme Adviser Julia Mørk.
Programme Adviser Julia Mørk and Programme Adviser Katrine Osland will represent Norec during the events.
Accra and Kumasi
The information meetings in Ghana in will take place in Accra on Thursday 10 April at the Royal Norwegian Embassy, while the Kumasi session follows on Friday 11 April.
